Chris Burkard is one of my favorite photographers. Period. He was originally a self-taught surf line photographer who wanted to shoot some of the most scenic, wild and remote surf spots all over the globe. So he decided to document people surfing in remote places such as the Arctic Circle, Alaska and Iceland. Since then he has been on a mission to finding more and more remote and wild places all over the world.

So this guy is the whole reason I got an Instagram, so I could see his photos more easily and frequently than his blog. Foster used to work at Ralph Lauren in New York and then got a book deal, which he used the money from that deal to fund a couple years of adventuring all over the US and Mexico. Foster lived out of a variety of vans and campers surfing, camping and exploring in Baja and all along the west coast. More recently he has finished a project called the Cinder Cone which is definitely worth a look, the link is below. This account will make you really think if  that tempting and cushy office job is really worth not going out to adventure and live your dreams?
