A couple of weeks ago I went to trip to Mammoth Lakes, CA, this was the first time I've been on a trip out the city in a while. We started our trip at 9:30am from SF and it took a grand total of six hours to drive to Mammoth. It is a gorgeous drive which winds up North past Sacramento, through Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and then we finally arrived. We drove through the towering mountains of the Sierra's, past the sprawling forests of Lake Tahoe and Yosemite, and through the plains of Northern California. The hours flew off the clock and we finally arrived. We hung out of the cabin by the fire, hosted a Beer Olympics, went to Hot Springs (check Facebook), and went on a few hikes.
